E8 Markets Expands Offering with Perpetual Futures and Proprietary Trading Terminal
# E8 Markets Expands Offering with Perpetual Futures and Proprietary Trading Terminal
**Prop trading firm E8 Markets has expanded its product lineup with the launch of perpetual futures, alongside a new proprietary trading platform, as competition among firms continues to move beyond traditional forex and CFD-style products.**
E8 Markets introduced its new **E8 One Perpetual** and **E8 Pro Perpetual** programmes on September 3, giving traders access to perpetual contracts covering cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices and metals.
Trading takes place through the firm's newly launched **E8 Terminal**, with market data for the perpetual products supplied through Hyperliquid.
Unlike conventional futures contracts, perpetual futures do not have an expiry date, allowing positions to remain open provided margin requirements continue to be met. E8's offering also enables trading around the clock.
However, E8 stresses that the accounts operate within its **SimFi simulated trading environment**. Market data is real, but traders are not deploying live capital into the underlying markets.
E8 Pro Perpetual Targets Daily Payout Traders
One of the more notable additions is **E8 Pro Perpetual**, a one-step evaluation programme combining an **8% profit target** with an **8% static drawdown**.
The programme carries a **2.5% daily drawdown** and a **2% daily profit cap**. Profits above the 2% threshold can be generated, but only 2% of the initial account balance per day counts towards the evaluation target or recognised profit.
Once traders reach the performance stage, E8 says there are **no consistency rules, no payout caps and no minimum trading-day requirement**, while payout requests can be made daily subject to the programme's payout conditions.
E8 One Perpetual Offers Alternative Rule Set
The firm's second product, **E8 One Perpetual**, takes a different approach.
Its standard configuration has a **6% profit target, 3% daily drawdown and 4% dynamic drawdown**.
Unlike E8 Pro, the performance account carries a **40% Best Day rule**, meaning a trader's largest profitable day cannot represent more than 40% of total generated profits when qualifying for a payout.
E8 currently allows up to **$500,000 in performance-stage allocation** separately for E8 One Perpetual and E8 Pro Perpetual accounts.
Proprietary Terminal Becomes Central to E8's Expansion
The product launch also puts greater emphasis on E8's own technology.
Perpetual trading is available exclusively through **E8 Terminal**, rather than MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker or MatchTrader. The platform incorporates risk-management controls, challenge objectives and trading analytics into the trading interface.
The launch represents a further expansion of the markets being targeted by prop firms.
While much of the industry historically centred on simulated forex and CFD trading, futures products have become an increasingly important part of the retail prop-trading sector. E8's decision to introduce perpetual contracts adds another category to that competition, giving traders access to instruments more commonly associated with cryptocurrency derivatives markets.
**E8's launch follows a particularly active week for the prop trading industry, with firms increasingly competing through new asset classes, proprietary technology and alternative payout structures rather than simply larger account sizes.**
